Our mission is to provide the best tour experience you’ve ever had
We believe that one size doesn’t fit all.
After 8 years working in the London tour industry, we wanted to provide a more personal & premium alternative to the ‘take your photos and be back on the bus in 5 minutes’ approach.
We customise private tours lead by dynamic, passionate Londoners to give you the best memories of our beautiful city.
Our tour guides are the best in the business
Conducting private tours that offer more
Always listening to your needs & tailoring your tour to suit your taste, pace & style.
Meet the Team
Our team are all Londoners who have been selected for their expertise, passion and personality. Forget boring lectures, we provide a knowledgeable new friend who can bring out the best of London, all tailored to you.
Charley is the founder of London Tailored Tours, which she set up after six years working for the large bus operators with the thought, ‘this can be done better’. She’s a foodie, a cyclist a life-time Londoner and loves to let you into secrets about where to find the best hot chocolate, the most authentic pub, and the garden no-one else knows about.
Charley is working mostly on running the business and tailoring your tours from our office. Email her at email@example.com to have her tailor something unique to you.
Beatrice is a foodie, fashionista, and fan of Victorian literature (she’s got a PhD in that, don’t you know). She can show you where to find that special antique, one-off vintage scarf, or the Rembrandt no one knows about. She is also the chief writer on our excellent
Blog about all things London. Catch her on one of our shopping, food or art tours, or email her on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Ken might be the coolest guide in London. Not only does he speak Japanese, German and Spanish but can talk comics/movies/theatre fluently. He also knows a fair bit about Sport (NFL included) and is himself a keen boxer.
Ken can show you where Sherlock was filmed, where James Bond lives or talk British football over a Pint. Find him on our Royal Morning Tour or Best of London in a day.
Jasmin loves to show off the best of London. When’s she not delighting kids and hard-to-impress teenagers on our family tours, she’s acting as an 18th-century witch on the Cutty Sark in Greenwich or doing the occasional stand-up gig in the West End. A Harry Potter fan too and she’s in Gryffindor. Meet Jasmin on one of our classic tours of London or one of our Harry Potter tours.
Linus is a passionate Harry Potter fan guide, professional actor, improviser, and catwalk model. (He’s originally from Sweden, where everyone is multi-talented). He’s also our social media manager.
He can show you where to find that special edition Harry Potter book, just-opened exhibition, or play that’s about to hit the big time. Catch him on one of our Potter tours.
Alan is a Southwark-dwelling Tweed Jacket-wearing aficienado on all things London (he’s lived here his whole life and has been touring for 20!). When not surprising guests with Ripper or Rock and Roll facts, he can be found hosting the pub quiz in Borough or cycling around town on a Boris Bike.
Alan can show you the pub that Jack the Ripper drank in and has many stories about the Londoners he’s met over the years. Find him on the Best of London tour or have him tailor a pub tour for you.
James is an Oxford-educated historian, who lectures in military history. As a retired Army officer, James is widely known for giving the best Royal tour in London – and he also delivers a variety of interesting out-of-town excursions. He has a number of outside interests, including classic cars, tweed and real ale. Find him guiding our Royal morning or on our new Churchill’s London Tour.
Orginally from Dublin, Maurice is a proud London cabbie, who knows every road in London. Not only does he have the ‘Knowledge’ (the notoriously hard exam about all roads in London) he has a tour guide qualification too. His handsome Mercedes vehicle can comfortable carry six people and is perfect for transfers and tours for those who might find walking difficult. Maurice loves going to the theatre and has all the best tips about getting the best seats at London’s best shows.
Hiro is currently very busy designing ‘London on Four Legs: The ultimate walking tour for dogs’. He can sniff out London’s best green spaces and his sense of direction is second to none. He loves running and socializing and urban foraging. Find him in our office or occasionally assisting a sightseeing tour.
